Inspired by the Giant’s Causeway, this private garden by Takeshi Nagasaki / N-tree brings together hexagonal forms, trees and planting to create a quiet space at the heart of Dixon Gardens.
This open garden event is an opportunity for everyone involved in the project to see the completed garden, appreciate the work behind it, and celebrate its creation for the residents of Dixon Gardens.
2022年1月にプランニングが始まったこのプロジェクトは、想像の地形上にランダムに植栽の場所を決め、そこから導線や人の交わるスペースを考えるという形で展開していきました。象徴的な六角形のモチーフはユネスコの世界遺産にも登録されているGiant’s Causewayの柱状節理から着想を得ています。このアイデアは初期の段階から決まり、この庭の重要な骨格となりました。六角形のフォルム、樹木、そして植栽の調和が、庭に静寂な空間を創り出しています。
住人だけのプライベートガーデンをこの機会にお披露目いたします。
