N-tree / Takeshi Nagasaki is a landscape gardener and an artist who creates
‘space of encounter’. Gardens are unique spaces where so many elements
are encounter such as buildings & grounds, clients, architects &
gardeners, products & nature, old & new, lights & shadows and
west & east. Nagasaki applies different media to express those encounters
beyond categories of arts, design, sculpture and garden. The ‘Space of
Encounter’ in the Gallery will be his first comprehensive exhibition in
the UK which provides a rare opportunity to witness the new Japanese garden
movement. This exhibition of ‘Space OF Encounter’ aims to become the viewer’s
‘Space FOR Encounter’. |
